I has a new pet? .^^;

So I found this "little" guy hanging out in the kitchen when I got home from work. .... I think I'll keep him. ;P











He's weird... I've never seen and insect like him before. He's got four wings like a dragonfly, but fuzzy antennae like a moth, and is a whopping 2 inches in length. =3 So after much searching around the internets, I discovered he's a Summer Fishfly. The adults live about 7 days, and don't eat. .^^ So while I'll probably end up letting him go tomorrow, if I did actually keep him, I wouldn't have to worry about feeding him. .^^;

I've named him Jorge. ;P

But if you kept him, he won't be able to have insect sex and make lots of insect babies.

What if he's holds the last gene to a special immunity to pollutants? Then you would have doomed the entire species to a certain extinction!

CUTE! His wings are so pretty. He does look like a type of dragonfly. Shame they don't live very long. :(
