All I know is that a new Tenipuri movie came out last month. And just the other day I finally decided to go see it, so I'll go tomorrow (just in time, as this is the last weekend it'll be out). In January a new anime will air, but I haven't decided if I'll watch it or not. It'll follow the Shin Tenipuri series, and... I just don't care about ShinPuri. The few chapters of it I did read were just rehashes of the same old matches. It was, like, oh look, Atobe's in another tie-break forever match. Tezuka's leaving for Germany. And so on.
So probably, if it airs at a time I just happen to be home, on one of the six channels I get, maybe I'll watch it. But I can't see me scouring the internet to find fansubs of it.
For me, Tenipuri has become much like what Sanrio or Winnie the Pooh is for other people. I enjoy the characters and like buying merchandise with the characters on it, but have little interest in following the "plot" outside that.
Besides, the best plot is in my head. =P (and on my calendar)
