So, my dad died.

I just found out a little bit ago, and don't have any details yet except that he passed in his sleep.

I might be flying back to the US, depending on when the funeral is or if there's even going to be a funeral. I don't know anything yet.

I don't know what I'm going to do, in the short term, or in the long term.

I literally just this morning, just a few hours ago, got back from a trip to Korea. I wanted to post about that trip and share pictures and talk about all the things that I saw, but I can't now. I wanted to bask in the afterglow of that trip, but I've just been blindsided with the worst news of my life.

He would have turned 68 this June. He was the second-youngest of my Grandparents' six children, and the first to die. He was morbidly obese and confined to a wheelchair. He was drugged up all the time, because he was always in so much pain. And he laughed all the time, but I know he was always so sad because of the situation he got himself in. He once told me, "If I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself." He never planned on living a long life.

He had two biological children, two adopted children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Sorry.

I'm kind of a mess right now.

Is it weird to write fanfiction featuring your own original characters? ^^
But I really wanted to write this kind of story, but didn't feel like making up new characters for it. Which is funny, because usually I come up with characters first, and build stories around them. I just really like thinking up characters!
But this time, the story came first, and instead of making characters for it, I just used the guys I already have laying around. (笑) If that makes sense.

So it's Alternate Universe fanfiction... with my own characters.

Oh good, a vaccination site exclusively for young people.

So I'm too old to go to the Shibuya site, but too young to get a vaccine through my city.

And ya know what? At this point, I fucking hope I do get COVID.

I hope I get it and fucking die from it!

I'm so fucking sick of fucking everything!!
