Weed, to go with my PoT.

I must take a moment to give homage to a relatively underappreciated - or at least, rather unknown - anime series, by the name of 'Ginga Densetsu Weed'. Because nobody knows of it, so I want to give it a little spotlight time.

See, I was randomly looking up anime to download one day (and by randomly I mean I was looking for series Eiji Takemoto was in.. .^,^ ), and came across this series, and saw it was all about dogs. X3 Yes yes, talking animals, how very Disney. But I adore dogs, so this was cute to me.

It didn't take long at all for the series to suck me in completely. It is not happy fluffy cute. There is drama, the characters fight, and sometimes, they die. The plot is deep and well thought out, and the characters are easy to get attached to. And because the characters are dogs, I can't do my shallow "I love him because he's hot!" thing. .^^ My pure adoration for them is truly because they are great...people. .^^

My favorite by a long shot is Jerome.

Because he's bad-ass. X3 (actually...he really kinda reminds me of Sanada.. XD ..without the dorkiness) There are no words to describe how much I love him.

And I'm rather fond of Kyoushiro as well. .^_^

He's the punk. ;P

And the recent scene where Weed finally gets to meet his father...

...makes me cry. .;o;


So yes.

Is a great series, and I recommend everyone see it. .^_^

That's the character Takemoto does. .^_^ Named Kagetora, 'cause he's tiger-striped.

Named GB (yes...that's "gee-bee" .^^ I don't know if it stands for anything though..), is voiced by Naru Kawamoto. .^_______^
