On hate.

I've never been dishonest about the things that I hate. I say quite freely that I hate the things that I hate.


Once upon a time I mentioned how I hate women. Now while most people took it in stride, understanding that when I say "I hate women" I didn't mean I hated them if they were female, just that in general, I don't like women. But one person - one particular person - took it personally. She said "well if you hate women you must hate me, because I'm a woman." And no matter how many people tried telling her "it's not like that, don't take it personally," she took it personally. Probably on purpose, just to be a bitch, 'cause that's the kind of person she is.

And ya know...it would be just like a woman to take something personally when told "don't take it personally."


But it's really not like that. I don't know how to describe it, so if a person just doesn't get it, they're never going to, because I can't put it into words. When I say "I hate," I mean in general, not personally.


I hate people.
Now obviously that doesn't mean I hate every human on the planet; I have quite a few people I love to itty-bitty pieces. Just because they're people doesn't mean I hate them. It doesn't mean I hate you or you or you. But in general, I hate people. I could really do without the entire human race.


I hate women.
Obviously I don't hate everything female. Most, if not all, of my nearest, dearest friends are female in some way (usually physically, sometimes mentally as well). I love my grandma and my cousin and my sisters. I don't even feel the need to spit on every woman I see. But in general, I don't like women. They're catty. I wish they'd shut up and go away.


I hate children.
That doesn't mean I hate your child, or that child over there, or that child right there. I don't think all babies should be obliterated. But in general, I hate children. It's probably best if you keep them away from me.


But that's just the way I am.
