A happy new year~
Dec. 31st, 2006 10:39 pmI actually had two days off in a row this past week! =D
So. Wednesday Née-chan and Syn picked me and Günter up and we went shopping for dollie stuff and...stuff.. .^^ All day! =D And at Target (shaddup... .^^ just because I go there on my day off....) we found a bathtub that was perfect for the boys, so she bought it. XD ::laughs:: And we had so much fun with that thing, we ought to be arrested. XD XD And then Syn opened his X-mas present from Günter (whom he has taken to calling "Gü" .^^ ) - it was a '7 Habits of Highly Effective People' book, only...little. X3 Such a Gü thing to give. XD
Then at some point during the night I learned that Günter has somehow become rather fond of Syn. X3 It was so cute! They were laying together while Née-chan and I read manga and played video games, respectively, and he even let him hold his hand. ;P
I almost don't have the heart to tell him his world is in for a whole lotta confusion. .^^* So I won't, and he'll have to figure it out on his own. Aw. Poor guy.
Well, we ended up spending the night, and the next day I lurked and played World Of Warcraft on Née's computer until...late. .^^ Then we went home.
I've worked every day since then, predictably, but am looking forward to another day off tomorrow. I feel soooo much better, now that X-mas is over and I don't have to work ungodly hours all the time. .^_^ ...while going to school and trying to get projects and finals done.. .>_>
Today is my cousin Jessica's birthday, but she had plans to spend all day and night with her boyfriend, so we got up early and her, her boyfriend, Grandma, and I all went out for breakfast. It was pretty fun. .^^ Then I went to work straight from there.
Work wasn't bad. Kinda slow, but not mind-numbingly so. And during the course of the day a co-worker and I got to talking about the good points of 2006, since this was its final day. Strangely (or not?), we both listed "getting a job" as one of the pluses.
So, the main point of this post!
The good points of 2006
got a job
didn't have to pay rent at all =D
got to bring Günter into my life
made new friends
and kept the better of the old (somehow.. ♥)
became "over the hill" in regards to getting my college degree
finally got a new windshield for my car.. .^^**
went to Japan
saw Rikkaimyu live...twice X3
saw mah RENJI~!!! X3 X3
RENJI!!!!!!!!
*cough cough*
And then of course..
The bad points of 2006
had to move from California back to a state I really don't like
Dad was pretty sick for a while there... .;_;
work + school = stress of death
had a few arguments with people I love
all birdies died.. .;_;
missed Yaoi-con...for the first time since it began.....
camera went kaput..
Resolution for 2007: To get my credit card bill down to at least half of what it is, and quit relying on it so much. ("I wish I knew how to quit you! .;o;")
All in all, I think '06 was a decent year.
But look out 2007! Here I come!! =D *super-charged!*
Everyone~!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
