That's mah boy!
Feb. 19th, 2007 01:37 amI would like to take a moment to stroke my own sense of pride a bit.
At the meetup, which was very very fun BTW, someone mentioned somewhat covertly that one of the most favorite of the MI group's dolls was none other than my own little Günter. =3 It was somehow concluded that he was one of the most liked out of all that are here. Because he's so different, she said.
That kind of makes me laugh, and reminds me of something Tabby and I were talking about last year. How so many people are like "my doll is a vampire!" Günter is kind of unique in that he's so normal. X3 He's not a "vampire from outer space;" he's just a regular guy. He's not a flamingly gay crossdressing pervert, he's actually kind of a prude. And in this fandom, that's kinda rare. .^^* Not that vampires are bad, by any means! Just...so very very common. .^^**
But yes. That made me exceedingly happy. Not that I need other people's approval and/or acceptance of my doll - even if everyone thought he was boring or ugly, I wouldn't change him for the world - but it's just so nice to hear that something I've put so much time and energy and love into is well liked.
