It's perfect. Absolutely perfect.

If the weather could be like this all the time, every day, I would be the happiest chibi ever. It's so warm, but not too hot, and there's a good wind.

Absolutely perfect.

And on such a day...to actually have a day off work.

It makes me want to grab a good book, tuck a dollie in the crook of my arm, and sit outside. Forever.

I wonder if it'll last..

Today ended up being just plain weird. .>_>

I felt bad all morning, and it took all I had to force myself to go to class. It doesn't help that I've been...not so much liking this class recently. But we're having some Japanese ladies come in on Thursday to perform tea ceremony for us, and my teacher, in all her flakiness, didn't have any information about where and when to meet until today. So I forced myself to sit through class, just to get the information about the tea ceremony.

But the weather was so nice, so I ended up not minding going out.

In May I'll be hosting a tea party for my dollie friends, so after class (and after playing around on the computers in the library) I went up to the mall to get prices on stuff. Like teacups, 'cause it'd be nice to have ones that actually match, as opposed to whatever's laying around here. And a...a thing...for keeping hot water. Just some pricing.

While I was at the mall anyway, I stopped by the record store, and as I was browsing some CDs I heard yelling. So I turned and there were two chicks arguing, with one screaming obscenities very, very loudly, while her boyfriend and baby stood nearby. The other chick wasn't yelling as loud, but was obviously saying stuff; it looked like she was related to one of the employees standing there. The rest of the employees were watching, but only one, a guy, was standing between the girls, preventing a fight.

After scoffing at them, I turned back to the CDs, and found a used Pet Shot Boys CD that I've been looking for. =3 I buy CDs used when I can, since they're cheaper, and this one had a song on it that I've been looking for. So it was a yey!.

I turned again and headed to the front to buy the CD and...well, it had turned into a fist fight. Between the loud chick and the employee that looked like she was related to the other girl in the argument. I only caught the tail end of the fight, but there were chunks of hair flying about. .>_> And the boyfriend, still holding the baby, was trying to pull loud!girl out by her shirt. Another guy employee grabbed fighting!employee and held her arms, loud!girl's boyfriend managed to drag her out of the mall, and a security guard came by and started asking questions (where was he during the fight?).

And my first thought was... well, actually it was "::scoff:: Americans." But my second thought was something along the lines of "wow, and people call me retarded 'cause I play with dolls." I guess if that's what it takes to be cool...I'll stick with being a retard. At least I don't lose chunks of hair out of it.

So after that bit of fun I left the mall and popped my new CD into the player, excited to hear some gay boys singing about their love for other boys. And I got a lovely ear full of...opera?

...... Eh?

Took the CD out, looked it over. It was labeled right and everything. Said Pet Shop Boys on the CD and everything. Put it back in, maybe they were just being weird with the first track? But no, the whole CD was opera. And it was only 7 tracks, not 18 like on the listing. It was like someone had recorded over my gay Brit pop with opera! .o_O I wasn't aware that was even possible with CDs. .o_o

So back into the mall, back to the record store, explained the problem. I was afraid they wouldn't take it back because it was used and opened; a lot of places say if a CD is opened it can only be exchanged for the same item, but I didn't know how that'd work since I bought a used copy. Would they give me a new copy for the used price? I know that wouldn't be fair to the store, but it wouldn't be fair to me either to be forced to pay more for a new one, or keep a CD that wasn't technically what I paid for.
These are the things that go through my head. .9_9
Thankfully they were willing to just credit me, and since I shop there a lot I said I was fine with just getting store credit, so that's what they did. So I guess now I have to hope I get lucky again and that CD, or one with that song I was looking for, shows up again.

...but knowing me I'll break down and buy another Erasure album. .^^*

This whole week has just been weird. Sometimes interesting, sometimes not so much, sometimes I've just plain had enough.

It can end any time now.
