work work work work work work...

I love how my "I have the whole weekend off!" turned into "I work all weekend!"

I went from two days working, two days off, two days working, two days off to six days working, two days off...

Oh, it's because a co-worker's son died, so she's (quite understandably) taking some time off, and I picked up a couple of her shifts.

It's all good though. Gave me more than 13 extra hours, so I'm happy. And last night pretty much all of my favorite people were working, and it was pretty slow, so we had a grand ol' time. XD And all the bosses were in other parts of the store, so I was pretty much running everything, and it was fun.

The only dumb customer thing that happened was some lady called on the phone, saying she'd bought some sheets but when she got home she didn't have them. I checked our 'paid & left' box, but didn't see any sheets in there, so told her we didn't have them, but if she came in with her receipt we'd check the cameras and see what happened. She got all "And how long is that going to take!? Hours!?" I said no, it shouldn't take very long, and she just got all "Well I'm just never going to shop there again!" and hung up. ..... ::laugh:: I love when people think that's a threat. Of course, I'd bet money that she goes in looking for her sheets, and picks up a few things while she's there.

And now, must get ready to go back.

But I have a date with The Beatles Rock Band later. XD
