I can't listen to this song without dreaming up some really random reason to have Günter and Ardan doing karaoke together. .^^;;; It's a good song, though!
Anyway.. .^^
I've not had a normal day of work yet. .>_> Last week the schedule was all rearranged because there was testing, yesterday there was a big teacher's meeting, so it was rearranged for that, and today the 3rd year students had more tests. ... The point is, I've been working for a week, and still don't know the school's time schedule; I still don't know when I'm supposed to be where. It's.... worrisome.
Though that's just for the jr. high. Regarding the elementary school, the whole half a day I was there, they sent students to come get me, which was very helpful. If that continues, I'll be ok there. ... But I have no way of knowing if that'll continue. .>_>
I are confoosed.... .;_;
Aside from that, though, I had such a fun time at the mid-day break yesterday. There's a period of time set aside for the students to play outside, and I like to watch every now and then. So today I was looking out the window, and these two girls saw me, and waved. *chuckle* So I waved back, then went over to the door to say hi. We ended up using the rest of the recess just chatting, them in limited English, me in limited Japanese. So of course the whole conversation was like "Do you like volleyball?" "A little bit - すこし." "Do you like tennis?" "Yes, very much. テニスが一番好きなスポーツ." Really simple stuff, but a lot of fun.
And that - that communication between cultures - is why I'm here. =3
