School days~
May. 10th, 2010 09:25 pmMondays are generally very busy for me. I always have a full schedule on Mondays. .... Fridays too, but Mondays are tough, because I'm just coming off the weekend - I sleep in on Sunday mornings, so can't get to bed on time Sunday nights, so don't get much sleep at all for the busy, busy Mondays. But it's ok; Mondays are at the junior high school, so even though I have classes all day, they mostly just consist of standing there and speaking on command. No singing or clapping or dancing, like if I were at the elementary (like I do aaaaaaaall day on my busy, busy Fridays).
Some days there are staff meetings. When it happens at the elementary school, they usually kick me out, which is kinda... eeeeeeh.... Well, whatever, as long as my timesheet gets stamped, I guess. Today we had one at the junior high school. They usually let me stick around, which makes me feel included, even if they don't address me or talk to me or acknowledge me in any way. So I spent today's meeting coloring (I've taken to coloring any time/class schedules they give me, as it helps me see what's going on more clearly), and had a fun little moment of "I'm getting paid to do this." ;P
I don't know if it's funny or weird or creepy or what, but even at the students' young age, I can pretty much already tell who's going to grow up really attractive. Some of them are very pretty. One of the 9th grade guys has two little moles, one on each side of his nose. It's so cute!
Also, there's a group of 8th grade girls who seem to really like me. .^,^ Whenever they see me, they'll run over, even if it's out of their way, just to wave and say "Hello!" to me. =3 So fun.
And on a totally unrelated note, I'm totally plugging Giant Killing. And not just because it features Okiayu as the stern captain of a sports team who comes pretty damn close to saying "Yudan sezu ni ikou." Simply because, after only five episodes, I'm totally hooked. Hooked enough to use the word "totally" three times in as many sentences. Watch it. =3
..... I think I've watched more anime in the past month than I have in the past five years put together.
