stuff and stuff x 3

Ya know, all this time people have been like "June is rainy season in Japan! It rains every single day in June! June = rain always!"
Now, I don't want to imply that these people are on crack or anything, but....

It rained every day in April. It rained every day in May. But as soon as June hit, the rain stopped, and the sun came out.

Ok, so I realize it's actually probably a case of this year is just weird, and normally June is the rainy season. Since I'm not up on my climatology, I can only wonder what it means. Are weather patterns shifting? Is the Earth's axis tilting? Is the world coming to an end? Do I have that big an effect on Japan!?

Or was it just a fluke?


In other news, I want to bring in some tasty American snack for my co-workers, but I can't think of what. It has to be something cheap and easy to ship from the U.S. It can't be something I have to bake (no oven). But, what....?


And in other, other news, looks like SOOM is finally making their limited fantasy dolls in mini size. And I have no doubts that Angelheim pushed them to it. SOOM's been ignoring minis for years, so Angelheim was like 'fine, we'll do it, natch'. And people were like 'ferk yeah, hooved minis!'. Now all of a sudden SOOM is like 'uh... we were totes planning minis this whole time, yeah! ignore that time we said we'd never do 'em'.

Not that I'm complaining. I'm not too interested in these here goat boys, but if they come out with any gray birdies, I'd be all over that. At present, though, I'm still looking at Angelheim for a fantasy mini. I lurv their Luka.

Of course, current priority is getting the crew I already have shipped over here.
