always too hot
Jun. 7th, 2011 07:22 pmSummer has barely just begun. In fact, technically we're just entering the rainy season. But already, it's too hot for me to bear. .~_~
So I thought maybe I'd go somewhere for the summer. Away. Someplace cold. And my very first thought was Siberia. Well, after looking into it, I was amazed to learn that summers in Siberia are actually pretty warm, and humid. So that actually wouldn't do me any good.
Next I thought Australia. Summer everywhere else in the world is winter in Australia. Brilliant! ..... Then I read that Australian winters are still warm enough for people to go swimming during. Damn it.
So fuck it, I started looking at Antarctica. And while it does look to be the one place on the globe that isn't on fire during the summer, it would also cost upwards of $4000+ to get there, which I just don't have. It would be cheaper to just leave my freezer door open all summer (though not nearly as fun).
In conclusion, it looks like I'll be staying right here for the summer, roasting.
Although... I wonder how Hokkaido is......
