My strange life.

Nope, nothing normal here.
First, my apartment was infiltrated by a ninja frog.

An adorable ninja frog.
How he got in... I suspect he was clinging to the outside of my window, then when I opened the window he jumped to the other pane, and was then brought inside when I closed the window again. And I thought, oh I have a new pet. Then I took him outside and let him go. .^^
Now, remember the Ishida plush? He always sits on the edge of the loft, looking out over the apartment. Always.
Well, the other day I looked up and noticed....

... he was facing the other way.
I didn't touch him. I didn't move him.
He was facing my bed. .o_O
I went to sleep with an eerie feeling that night.
The next day I woke up, and the sky was a solid ceiling of cloud.

Actually, that was just kind of amazing.
But I still enlisted in... protection.

Divine protection.
=P
On that day, which was Sunday, I had to work. Or, I thought I had to work. There was something going on with the school, and months ago I was told I'd have to work, but since we'd just come off of four days of vacation, I didn't mind going in on a Sunday.
Except, when I got there I was told I didn't have to be there.
*sigh* Thanks for telling me sooner.
Well, since I was up, I took a spontaneous trip to Oyama. There are some good shops in Oyama, including an Animate.
Now... back in the day, when I was only ever in Japan on vacations, going to Animate was a wondrous, magical thing. So much anime stuff to waste money on. But now... it's still fun, still cool, but not quite so magical. Probably partly because I can go pretty much any time I want now, but also because I simply don't watch all that much anime anymore. The few series I have watched in the past few years aren't popular enough to have any merchandise. I'm still always looking for stuff for the series I've always been into, but that's all so old now, there isn't much of anything. There's absolutely no D.Gray-man stuff, no Fullmetal Alchemist stuff, and, despite still airing on TV, not even any Bleach stuff anymore. Now it's all K-ON, Gintama, or Reborn, or stuff from series I've never heard of. Now that I think about it... this time they didn't even have any Hetalia or Durarara merchandise, where just a few months ago there were shelves full of it.
Maybe if they carried Kamen Rider stuff I'd spend more money there. .^^ But they don't.
So the point is, it's been a long time since I actually bought anything from an Animate store.
But.
But this trip, I did. I had to. I simply had to buy a calendar.

Judging from how close their hips are, if they uncrossed their legs they'd be on top of each other.
I'm sure this will all stop and my life will be boring again soon. Right?
