let's put it off longer!

I'm supposed to be taking pictures right now. But I'm not. Heh.
1. From all the dolls you own, which is your favorite and why?
Of course, I don't play favorites. Honest!
But... Perhaps there is one guy who's pretty special to me. Because when I saw him, I instantly felt he needed to be here, and since then everything I've done doll-wise has been for him, to give him friends, and a family, and a story.
2. Explain how you managed to get into BJD collecting.
An old friend of mine on LJ started collecting them before anyone even knew what a BJD was, and she made great stories and took nice pictures and I thought they were so beautiful. But they were also very expensive, so I never planned on owning one, only looking at other people's pictures. Until there came one that I couldn't not own...
3. Name the very first doll you ever bought.
The Dream of Doll Wi. My Gü! Because he looked so lonely, so I wanted to make him happy.
4. Which doll do you plan to buy next?
Hmm~ I have a few things in mind. .^_~
5. Are you currently waiting on any dolls?
Actually... no. =P
6. How many dolls do you currently have?
Eight full dolls and two floating heads (though I'm trying to sell off one of the heads).
7. Name the very last doll you bought?
My SOOM Shale, Meili.
8. What is the worst thing about this hobby?
I would say the people, but I've gotten really good at ignoring the stupid shit.
But yeah... there be some crazy bitches in this hobby.
9. What is the best thing about this hobby?
The creativity it inspires.
10. Which is your best doll photo?
I've always really liked this one:

It's usually my go-to photo whenever the favorite/best question comes up.
Of more recent photos, I love this one:

But, to be honest, I have a lot of pics I've taken that I think are really good.
(And I have a lot that I think are shit, so don't think I'm being egotistical. .^^; )
11. Which is your favorite BJD company?
I don't think I have one favorite company. There are a lot that are really good.
However, I will say that Dream of Doll is the only company that I own more than one doll from.
12. What is on your wish list?
More than anything, a SOOM Tuff. I've tried to buy that fucking doll twice now, and have lost out on it twice now. STUPID LITTLE ANGEL BOY why can't I have you? .;_;
13. Are there any dolls you wish you had never purchased?
Nope. .^_^
14. Who’s your favorite faceup artist?
I've always liked Sera, of CherryStreet Dolls (who did B's face), but she keeps disappearing.
15. What is a must when considering a purchase? Pose ability / faceup / age / etc.?
I don't have any particulars, really, but it must be from a reputable company that has good feedback. There's just too much money involved with these dolls to consider buying from a company that's unknown or flaky.
16. Anything else you’d like to add?
Just, thank you to the people who've put up with my dollie squeeing these past six and a half years. .^_^ My guys mean a lot to me, and I've had so many "friends" sneer and roll their eyes when I've talked about my dolls, so to have at least a few people say "They make you happy, and that's great" means the world to me. ♥
