sailorstarsunI got the funnest button ever! .^,^ It says "I don't mind straight people as long as they act gay in public." X3 Isn't that hilarious!? ;P
Then I also got two little round stickers, one having two stick-figure girls in wedding dresses and the other having two stick-figure guys in tuxedos, and they both say "legalize it" on them. ::nod:: It's a marriage equality kinda deal. .^_~ Ish cool. Then I got a bumper-sticker that says "Hatred is NOT a family value." Hells yeah!
So, today I went shopping and got almost everything I need for my Kazamatsuri (from 'Whistle!') cosplay. I don't think the shirt is the exact right color, but it'll do. The problem is going to be finding socks that same blue color. .>_> I found some online that look right, so we'll see. I'm thinking maybe I can dye them, so they'll both be the same color, and closer to the shade of blue they're supposed to be. ::nod:: But it'll be so much fun! .^_^
The best part was getting the soccer ball. X3 Who knew kicking a ball around could be slightly entertaining? (not as fun as tennis, mind you, but...) But the style and size of ball I wanted was waaaaaay way way on a top shelf at the sporting goods store, and they didn't have any help call button and there weren't any sales people around. .-_- Baaaad service... And I'm not the type to go asking for help.. So, in a moment of PURE GENIUS, I went over to the golf section and got a tall golf club and used that the get down the soccer ball I wanted. X3 GENIUS I tells ya!
I had a message on my phone from the people at one of the cafes I applied to a couple weeks ago, asking if I'd still be interested in setting up an interview. Well OF COURSE I am! But when I tried calling back there was no answer on their phone, and I know that particular place is closed on Sunday, so Monday I'll call back there and hopefully something will work out. .^_^
