Aha...and you thought I was obnoxious about this before... .^^* Now...it's going to get worse. People should probably just ignore me for the next...two months or so. XD (though I will post as edits as much as possible, so's not to be too spammy.. .^^* )

So. I was analyzing the time it's taken for my boy to get shipped to me. It's been a little over five weeks since I ordered; like...about five weeks, three days (but who's counting? .^^* ). For Dream of Doll, that's actually quite quick. From my research (according to my data... .^^ ), I'd say about 90% of the people who order from them get their shipping notices at week 7. In fact, Sasu said her Vincent was sent out at exactly seven weeks, and it says on the website the estimated time it takes is "7-8 weeks." And while I know it does vary, and there's even been the rare Very Lucky Person who got hers within three weeks (which I believe was 'cause of another person canceling their order, so she got the one that had already been started..?), I have to wonder why exactly mine is one of the faster ones.

...I hope it's not because he's shoddily put together. I'd rather wait a few more weeks and have him perfect, than get him quicker but at the sake of quality. .o_o

But I'm sure that's not the case. .^^ (being positive!)

Although, a bit on the 'meant to be' side... I had been trying to decide what song I'd like to declare as his image song ('cause I'm a geek like that), and just yesterday I decided which song it would be. .^-^ So the day after I decide that, he gets shipped to me. =3 Maybe that was it. .^_~

It's fate.


I made a cape for him. .^-^ I had talked about it with my Grandma a few weeks ago, and she said capes are really easy to make. So yesterday I went to the fabric store and they were having a HUGE sale (score!), and got some nice velvet for 60% off. .^_^ Of course...because of this HUGE sale, they were sold out of a lot of stuff, and they didn't have the velvet in black like I'd wanted...but I saw and totally fell for a really nice red one. =3 (for those who don't know, I have this deep obsession with the color red... I can't explain it, but of all the things to be obsessed with, one of mine is a color.. .^^* ) So I got it, and today I (with much help from Grandma .^-^ ) made it. =D And it looks decent! XD I didn't hem it, as it didn't look like it needed it (though this may change), so really it was just figuring out how and where to cut the cloth. And I haven't made the hood yet, 'cause I don't know exactly how big his head is, so I'll have to wait until he's actually here for that. But yeah! Nice red cape. .^__^ He'll look so fancy. =3

Aaaaand...rambling. I really have to get to sleep; work in the morning and all that (and is past 1:30am now... .^^* ).
