I had a cute conversation with Sensei. .^,^ I was turning my cell phone off while walking into class, and she saw my...danglie thing. .^^ So she was looking at it and asked..

Sensei: "誰ですか？" ("who's this?")
Me: "手塚です。" ("it's Tezuka")
Sensei: "手塚は誰？" ("who is Tezuka")
Me: "アニメのキャラクターです。" ("an anime character")
Sensei: *pokes at fuzzy* "何ですか？" ("what is this?")
Me: "....fluff ball です。" ("....a fluff ball") .^^
Sensei: "あぁ。" ("ah")

Ok, well I thought it was cute. ;P


Today, after class, as I was going to my car there was a guy riding a bicycle around the parking lot. He stopped by me and asked if he gave me some money, could he put this license plate frame on my car? I took a look at the frame he showed me, and saw it was an ad...for a bible school.

To my own credit, I was polite in my decline... But I did have the urge to ask if he'd taken a good long look at my car, and maybe, just MAYBE, the Jesus frame would clash with my HOMOSEXUAL bumper stickers. But I kept it at a simple "no."

He just said ok and moved on to harass other people, so it wasn't a big deal, it's just... nobody else does that kind of shit. I've never had any Buddhists come up to me, trying to convert me. Shit, I've never even had Jews try to get me to support their cause. But some people feel the need to get people to be just like them. I don't like being disturbed, and I especially don't like being disturbed by people pulling that crap.

But I digress.

Now I am a fan of free money. I am! And I understand how easy it would have been to take the money, let him put the frame on my car, then go home and take it right off. ... and burn it. But somehow, the thought of having it on for even that short a time bothered me.

Hell, it'd probably curse my car. .>_>


On the work front - today was officially declared "night of the screaming babies." .-_____- Even by one of my co-workers...who likes kids. Usually. I swear to gods, I've never wanted to punch another person's kid so bad before.


And... ya know, I always have so many things I want to write about, but by the time I finally get home, I've forgotten most everything. .;_; A lot of the really good stuff I write ( ::snort:: ) is stuff I've written down on paper when I had the thought. But a lot of good, thought-provoking stuff goes unwritten, 'cause I have no memory. .o_o

It's sad, really.


And I still don't have my essay done yet. .-_- But that's ok! It's only due TODAY!
