I love Japan. I can not stress this enough. I. Love. Japan.

Today I was supposed to go to a festival at a temple in Asakusa. I had no idea how to get to Asakusa, and instead of asking, like I should have, I just said "oh I can find my own way!" and went at it. This was a bad idea. I thought oh I'll just go to Ikebukuro and can catch a line to Asakusa there, because you can get anywhere from Ikebukuro.
Well.
Ikebukuro is the place I know best in Tokyo. I've stayed there twice before; I've explored there many many times. So I go there and think, well, before the festival I'll go to my favorite places in Ikebukuro. .... That is where I spent the entire day.

Of course, most of this time was spent scavenging the doujinshi stores. And while all the FujixTezuka, RyomaxTezuka, InuixTezuka, KikurmaruxTezuka, ect.xTezuka made me want to stab my eyes out, I was able to get my hands on a few TAT books. X3 And by a "few" I mean more than 20. X3 X3 X3 And they're all so cheap here!
(note: actually, the overwhelming amount of doujin that wasn't TAT didn't piss me off nearly as much this time as it did last year... so either I've matured somewhat over the year... or I just don't care as much.. .^^* most likely, I'm just really really used to it by now.. .>_> )
I also picked up one Ukitake/Byakuya (which actually turned out to be Renji/Rukia, with Ukitake and Byakuya talking to each other, which is why I hate that I can't open the packages and look at what I'm buying before I buy it.. .-_- but at least the cover is nice?), Ed/Al (FMA),TachibanaxTezuka, and a little something for Tabby. .^_^
At the Animate store I got the monthly charms - Feb. Fujicest for Aniki (and one for me .^,^ ), Aug. Tachibana/Kamio, Oct. TAT, and another Aug., but of Inori. X3 (you can not believe how much I flipped out when I saw that the Harutoki charm for my birthmonth was Inori X3 yeys! ) And, um...some other stuff, I think.
But anyway! I think I'll be able to get pictures onto, then uploaded from, this computer. I brought the cord, but forgot it in my bag (since I wasn't actually intending to come to this internet cafe, but happened to stumble across it), so I'll have to try it out later. If it works, there'll be pictures! .^_^
Other than that, I'm loving it here. .^_^
Now to go finish reading doujinshi! X3
