Okie, my plot worked for getting pictures up! .^__^

Not that I'll be posting all of them, but a select few. ;P

First. This is the stack of just TAT doujinshi I've bought. X3 (well, ok.. all TAT and one Katou/Shirota... which pretty much counts XD )

And this is Tabby's present. (sorry it's not a surprise, but I'm too excited about it! X3 )

And lets not forget the adorable INORI PLUSHIE!!! X3 X3 X3 ♥ I never knew such a thing existed, but there he was! Just waiting for me to come along and find him. X3

Now for story time. At animate I found these mini PoT shitajiki, each with a different character on each side. Like one would have Kikumaru on one side and Oishi on the other. The Momo one had Kaidou on the other side. The Sanada one had Yukimura on the flip side. So when I saw the one of Tezuka, of course my first thought was 'oh I bet it has Fuji or Ryoma on it ::eyeroll::'.
To my utter surprise, I was wrong. ....... WAY wrong.
Which further proves to me that my OT4 is actually somehow mysteriously connected. XD

So that was yesterday.

Today I hit up Harajuku and Akihabara. Both of which are big teen hangouts, but each with its own twist.

Harajuku is chock full of crazy street fashions. They had some of the coolest outfits for sale there. I was almost tempted to look at stuff, but didn't really want to spend money on it, nor go through the pain of not being able to find anything close to my size.......

I did get swindled into buying a $20 hat though. .o_o Damn me and my inability to say "no" to people! DX But he was trying so hard to sell me something, I couldn't just walk away. .;_; And it wasn't even a Japanese person! It was some guy from Nigeria! .^^* (apparently there're a lot of African guys who open urban American clothing shops in Japan, because those kinds of fashions are really popular..)
I did get two phone numbers out of it though.... Not that I wanted either of them....... .>_>

Oh! But on the train on the way there, there was this SUPER HOT guy sitting there, playing a Nintendo DS!!! HOT!! I mean...OMG I want to steal you hot! I wanted to ask if he wouldn't mind climbing into my bag so I could take him home with me, but I didn't want to disturb his imporntant gaming. ... And yes, I do realize I just typed "imporntant." In this case, I think it fits.

Anyway. Harajuku is also where I got to, for the first time, visit a shrine. .^___^ It was soooooo pretty, and so peaceful, and I totally demolished the tranquility with my tourist-ness. .^^* I threw some money in the...thing where you throw money, but I didn't do the hand clapping and bow part. =x I hope the gods don't smite me for that.....

Then as I was leaving some lady asked if I wanted a picture of me at the shrine. I said sure and let her take one. .^^ I didn't actually care if I had one of me, but she offered so nicely. .^^

Then to Akihabara.

Often just called "Akiba," its real nickname is "Electric Town," and for a very good reason. It's pretty much just store after store after store of electronics and computer stuff. Any computer thing you could ever want, you can find it in Akiba. It is also, because of this.... .... Nerd central. XD Which is fine with me, because there were plenty of hot nerds wandering around. And then it also makes anime stuff easier to come by.

There was another animate store there, where I got a Kyou Kara Maou plushie. But the catch is, it was in a box, and there was no way of knowing which character I'd get. So I was so torn on whether or not to get it, because of the six characters, I was only really interested in two, and I was afraid with my luck it'd be one of the ones I don't care for. But I did decide to buy it, then ran outside and tore into the package.
.... Japan is my lucky happy place. It was one of the two I'd wanted. X3 It was.... Gunter. XD XD XD (no relation to my Gunter, BTW ;P ) I am a happy chibi.

There was also supposed to be a mandarake store there (where all the used doujinshi are sold), but even with three maps, hell if I could find it. In fact, actually...I got really really lost in Akihabara. .>_>

I did find the 8-story Sega arcade though. X3 And a McDonald's. .^^* As much as I want to stay away from American food here in Japan, I was getting tired and cranky (I could tell!) and decided I needed to stop and rest and eat right then, and a chicken sandwich sounded really good. ... And it was. .^_~

And now, I think I'll be getting back to the hostel and resting more. My contacts are burning and I'm feeling kinda dizzy and, damn it, I still haven't gone through all those TAT doujinshi. .^^

But first...

Christmas pictures!
at the Sunshine 60 building / down a random street in Akihabara
Everywhere I go, I hear Christmas music...
