A day later, and the compy is still working. I'm still paranoid all kinds, but... so far so good? I guess?
So I've been telling myself for a while that if/when I got the computer back, the first thing I was going to do was make and post the next dorrie story. I had taken all the pictures right before PC death, and never had a chance to do anything with them. And while I admittedly did other stuff at the same time, I did immediately set to making the story when we got home.
Though I'm still pissed off about the whole thing. You realize this means that everything is getting pushed back
even more. So at this point, stuff that was supposed to happen in August, which then got pushed to October because of the box mix-up, is now pushed back to who-the-fuck-knows-when.
Anyway.
Here is the next story, which was actually the beginning of slightly more interesting stuff.
But wait, there's more!
See, I have a
lot of free time at work. Especially at the Junior High School, where the main English teachers do all the lesson-planning and stuff. But I can't take a book in or play video games, so I've spent a lot of time writing doll story scripts. Except... I'm now way too far ahead of myself. Like... I've got enough to last me 2+ years. So I decided I have to stop.
But I was left still bored. So, since I didn't have a computer to make or post stories with, I decided to start writing out the next few episodes, like... story-style. As in, in prose form.
So I wrote out the next story, which is this one that was just posted above. But then right after changed gears, and thought it'd be more fun to write out my favorites of the older stories instead. But then before I even started that, I changed gears again, and have since started a new, [mostly] completely original story to write out.
tl;dr version: in addition to the photostory above, there's also a written version of the same episode.
( Which can be read here. )How was that?
