So I finally requested the first doll box be shipped to me. I have planned all this time to receive them in a very certain order, and have had all their arrival stories written and ready. Everything was perfectly planned.

So I finally requested the first doll box be shipped to me. I asked for the box marked "Dolls - G & A."

Today I received the box marked "Dolls - L & R."

!!!!

Well, shit! I didn't need L & R! I needed G & A!

Now everything has to change! Because I can't just leave L & R sitting around, unused; that's just not my style. So stories will have to be written, re-written, and discarded to accommodate this change. G & A's arrival will have to be pushed back by a few months, which means one story I'd written, one that I really really liked, will have to be thrown away, because it wouldn't make any sense to do it in the winter. It's a summer story. It wouldn't make any sense in the winter. And re-writing it to do it next summer wouldn't work, because feelings will be different by then.

Shit!

I've got some things worked out, but damn it. I had everything so perfect, and now it's all messed up.

And the creepy thing is....... the box they sent does have "Dolls - G & A" written on the top... in somebody else's handwriting. I don't know who wrote it on there, or why, but I've got some theories. And if they saw that on the top and so sent it... well how did they not notice the "L & R" written on every side of the box!?!

And where is the real G & A box?


Though I will admit to enjoying the creative challenge, just a little. And I was so fucking flabbergasted when the [wrong!] box arrived, that I couldn't stop laughing about the situation for, like, an hour.

But still.

Shit.



I know who's fault this is. Oh yes, I fucking know it.

And he's sitting there smirking at me right now.
