sailorstarsunSo a long long while ago I did this huge doll owner survey, back when I only had Günter and Tachi. I was thinking about it, and decided I wanted to do an updated version of it, so here it is.
Note 1 – Some of my answers didn't change, even after four years. So if I'm using the same answer as before, I'll just put ===> in front of the answer. And a + if I'm adding something in addition to the old answer.
===> Note2 - "SD" stands for "Super Dollfie," which is actually specifically what the dolls made by the Volks company are called. I don't own any Volks dolls, and some elitists would therefore say I don't own any SDs. But, often "SD" and "dollfie" are used as blanket terms to refer to all BJDs (ball-jointed dolls - the official term).

I've owned at least one for over five years now, but I was interested in them a little while even before that.

Dream of Doll (x2), Dollmore, Dollshe, Dollzone, Luts/Cerberus Project, Fairyland, SOOM
8. What was your first reaction when you saw your SD for the first time?
===>Ah.. actually, the first time I saw Günter I was just so... shocked. Because I still couldn't believe I finally owned one. .^^ And he was so pretty! And it was my first time touching and holding a BJD; I was surprised at the size and weight. Basically, there was a lot of enthrallment. .^^
9. Have you shown your doll off at a Doll Show?
Not at a doll show, but I`ve taken them to anime conventions a few times.
10. Which do you prefer? Commercial SDs or customizing your own SD?
===>The customize-ability is half the attraction to me. That they're not all stock, and that two of the same molds can look so different from owner to owner, is amazing and fun. I like to customize mine as much as I can (eyes, hair, accessories), but I'm actually pretty limited, since I can't do my own faceups (I suck at painting in any way, shape, or form.. .^^ ).
11. How do you feel about Commercial SDs?
===>They're pretty, of course. If someone wants all the company-supplied standard stuff, that's fine. That's just not for me.
+ The exception will be with my incoming Shale. I got the default faceup and wig, so he'll end up looking pretty much like the company's design.
12. Did you create a personality/background for your doll(s)?
Yes, though quite frequently the personality I've created for them changes once they get here and I start playing with them. Can you imagine I had originally meant for Luke to be sweet and gentle? .>_>
13. What type of relationship do you have with your doll (ex. Beloved daughter, friend)?
===>Roommates, sometimes friends. ;P
14. Does your SD have a nickname?
Günter usually goes by just 'Gü'.
Tachi often gets called 'Ta-chan'.
Brishen is always always always 'B'; to the point where I actually feel odd calling him Brishen. Unless I'm teasing him by calling him by his first name. ;P
I'll call Antonio 'Tony', just to piss him off.
Every great now and then I'll call Quincy 'Quinchy', but not very often.
And even though he's not here yet, I enjoy referring to the unicorn as 'Pony!'.
15. What special meaning does your doll's name have?
===>Well... Tachi is..um... another word for... ::cough:: ....seme.
+ 'Brishen', according to babynames.com or wherever I got the name from, means "Born during the rain," which is meaningful because he considers himself dried up.
'Antonio' supposedly means "Worthy of praise," and boy does he agree.
16. Does your SD have a special seat/place in your room? If so, where?
In the tiny, shitty-ass apartment I'm in now, there's no room for them to have their own special place, so they've all just been kind of sat up in my loft, near the foot of my bed. I'm happy to be able to wake up and see them, though. But I might be moving them down for the summer, as heat and humidity rise, and I don't want them to melt.
17. Did you buy a chair specifically for your SD?
===>Günter has one, yes. X3
+ But it's still in Michigan.
18. Does your SD have accessories of her own? (ex. pets, toys, hairbrush)
===>A few, yes.
19. What hard to find items do you wish you could get for your doll?
I'm not looking for anything in particular right now.
20. What is the most expensive thing you've bought for your doll?
===>Günter's Byakuya cosplay.
21. When you go out, do you take your doll with you?
Not anymore; not here. I'm too paranoid that one of my students will see me and think I'm retarded and therefore not worth respecting and/or paying attention to in class. I would like to someday slip one into a bag and take them to a distant park for photos, though.
22. If so, where have you taken your doll?
In the past, I've taken them out to eat and shopping and to conventions and stuff. It was fun. Tachi and Quincy have traveled clear across America with me, including to Hawaii.
23. Is there a regular place you take your doll out to?
Not anymore.
24. If you do take your doll out of the house, how do you carry her? (ex. SD violin case, backpack,etc)
A tote bag or doll carrying case.
25. When you do take your doll out, is it easy to do or do you find it's more trouble than it's worth?
===>It's not easy, but it's definitely worth the trouble. .^-^
26. Does your doll have a friend? Do you think your doll wants a friend?
===>Yes, they have friends. .^,^ Aside from each other, they get along with Nee-chan's dolls pretty well. (ortoo well, in some cases .^_~ )
27. If you could build your dream FCS for free, what would it be?
===>Oh gods... ::laughs:: I have no idea. I like too many different styles.
28. What is your favorite optional head?
===>None in particular.
29. What is your least favorite optional head?
===>None in particular.
30. What type of fantasy head would you like to see produced?
I laugh at my old answer of "How many different kinds of fantasy heads can there be?" Because now I know. (A lot. More than just elves and vampires, now there are cat-boys and fox-girls and mermaids and unicorns, etc. etc. etc.) However, I still can't think of anything in particular that I'd like to see. Surprise me.
31. What is your favorite wig for your doll?
I like the style of Rook's wig, but I don't like how the hairs come out of the tail too easily, and if it's even a little bit off it looks totally wrong. It's a very difficult wig.
I really like how Luke's came out. Those purple streaks used to be white, you know.
32. What made you choose your SD out of all the various types?
For Günter, I instantly fell in love with his lonely little face. He looked so sad,I wanted to make him happy.
Tachi had the lovely Asian look I wanted. Beautiful, beautiful eyes.
B was another that looked so miserable, I had to bring him here. But also, my natural inclination to anything unpopular made me have to have him.
Antonio had the dangerous and snobby look I was looking for.
Quincy... Gods, Quincy was so perfect. I wanted a doll that was tall and had hidden eyes, and I spent a year trying to find one, or even trying to hybrid heads and bodies from different companies, to no avail. Until the day I found him. He was perfect.
Luke is a special case, where I thought he was really beautiful, but never thought I'd actually own him. And then, due to various circumstances, I did.
Rook was just too cute. Too... too cute.
Meili was because I wanted a fantasy doll, and I loved his little hoofies. Now if he'd just get here........
33. Do you change your SD's wig often and have you tried styling the wigs?
I styled Gü's, Tachi's, Quincy's, and colored Luke's myself. I never change any of them, since their wig is part of their character.
34. How many wigs do you have?
I think we have... 12? Extra ones need to be sold off, one of these days.
35. How many shoes do you have for your doll? Does your doll have socks too?
I don't know how many pairs we have. I would have to count, and most of them aren't here right now. Günter, Brishen, Antonio, Quincy, and Rook have socks.
36. What types of clothing does your doll wear?
Gü prefers business attire or business-casual. He always wears slacks and a button-up shirt.
Tachi tries to be punk, but fails.
B dresses like an old man.
Antonio likes to dress either like a fancy dandy, or in tight, body-showing stuff.
Quincy dresses like a nerd.
Luke only has his sheer robe, and he only wears it because the others force him to wear something.
Rook will wear whatever he's put into. But lately he's come to really like HIS outfit that was bought just for him. I think just because it's HIS.
For Meili, when he gets here, I want him in fantasy-like clothing, always all in white. But he'll be difficult, because his hooves will prevent him from wearing normal pants. He'll have to be in shorts or skirts.
37. Where do you purchase your SD clothing?
===>Wherever I can find it. .^^
38. Do you sew clothing for your doll?
No, I whine at other people to sew for me. .>_> Though actually, I made most of Rook's knight outfit myself, including the pants and cape and "chain mail" undershirt.
39. Do you plan on dressing your doll as an anime character? If so, who?
Günter has cosplayed as Byakuya, and Antonio has done Atobe. I'd like to do more cosplays for them in the future, just for fun.
40. Do you make accessories for you doll? What kinds?
===>I've "made" a necklace for Tachi (meaning... I put the ball-chain from a keychain around his neck .^^ ). That's all I can think of though...
41. Have you made doll items that you plan on selling?
===>No, no.. I'm not good at making things.
42. Do you sew/knit/crochet and for how long?
===>No, I suck at all things artistic/crafty.
43. Is there a type of music that you listen to when you are with your dolls?
===>Nothing specific. They listen to whatever I'm listening to at the time.
44. Have you ever thought about opening a doll shop?
===>Uh...... No.
45. Do you have a specific area in your home where you keep your SD?
.......... As I mentioned in question 16, they stay in my loft.
46. For how long did you know about SDs before you actually got your SD?
===>A few years, actually. A friend of mine got her first one, like, four or five years ago, and I always enjoyed the pictures she posted. =3
47. Do you carry your doll around in the house?
There's no place here to carry them. At most, sometimes up and down from the loft.
48. Is there a special place in your house that you like to sit with your doll?
Sometimes I sit them somewhere near me in the "living room," so I can look at them while I internet. But usually, since they're in the loft, we just spend sleeping time together.
49. What are the comments you have heard in regards to your doll, after others have seen it in person?
===>By strangers, I've gotten a few "that's creepy," but mostly people say they're really cool and/or pretty. My Grandma's said Günter is pretty, but other than that my family doesn't say much about the dolls themselves; just that I'm weird. Any friends who've seen them in person after only seeing pictures... haven't said anything, actually. .o,o
50. Does your doll have their own website?
Yes.
51. What is the color of your doll(s) eyes now? Also give the size of eyes, too.
Günter wears 14mm Souldoll P24, which is a silvery gray with darker gray on the outside of the iris.
Tachi has glass 12mm black eyes.
Brishen wears Eyeco14mm light blue eyes; I think the official name of the color is Morning Sky or something.
Antonio has 14mm Souldoll N-Cat7, which are glowingly bright bluish-green, with slit pupils.
Quincy has 14mm Dollmore D-Glass eyes, in a strange reddish-orangish-brownish color.
Luke wears 18mm Souldoll P-something (I forgot), bright dark purple.
Rook has 14mm Dollmore D-Glass eyes that are a nice gray with black sclera.
52. What is your favorite eye color for your doll(s) and why?
I`m not going to lie... I'm straight up obsessed with gray eyes. But I think we have a nice mix, despite that.
53. How often do you change the eyes?
Never.
54. How many different pairs of eyes do you have for your doll?
Each doll only has one pair of eyes. I've sold off any extra pairs, except one that's so cheap I couldn't give them away. So I think right now we have eight pairs.
55. Do you believe your doll has a "soul"?
===>For reals? No. .^^; The only "soul" they have is what I give them. But in the end, they are just dolls.
56. Do you talk to your doll?
===>For reals? Yes. ::laughs:: .^^ But then, I also talk to my computer, my car, my DS, my homework, and pretty much everything I come in contact with.
57. When talking to your doll, how does she address you?
===>As "hey, you." ;P Just kidding.
58. How do men react to your doll?
===>Uh... I don't know. .>_> My guy friends just laugh, then ignore them. My Grandpa teases them. My dad rants about how much they (and by "they" I mean Günter, 'cause I don't think he knows I have Tachi yet.. .^^* ) cost.
59. What was your favorite childhood doll growing up and why?
===>Umm... I think the only dolls I cared about as a child were my Rainbow Brite dolls. .^^ Ah, and my Wakko doll. But they were more for snuggling, not for cooing over teh pretty and photographing. .^^ I didn't care for doll aesthetics as a child.
60. Did you have to sell items from a personal collection to raise money to purchase your doll?
===>OMG, yes. .o_o I sold off a lot of collectibles for Günter.
61. If so, what did you sell?
===>Most notably, all but three of my animation cels. And some plushies.... And also a bunch of nick-knacky things that obviously weren't that important to me, since I don't really remember what they were.
62. How much do you spend on your doll a month? What is the maximum you would spend?
Uh... nothing. I'll buy them new clothes every great now and then, but not regularly enough to give a monthly figure.
As for the maximum... I've said I'll never again spend more than $100 on one outfit, but I've seen some really pretty outfits lately, so may go back on that.
63. Have you purchased something you regretted later?
I'm still wondering if I should be buying the unicorn. But I don't think that will turn to real regret, since if it doesn't work out I can just sell him.
64. Do you like buying clothing sets for your doll?
===>Yeah, sets are cool, but I kinda prefer buying individual pieces so I can mix and match. Sets that work as a set or as individual pieces are the total win. =3
65. How often do you change your dolls clothing?
Right now, at this very moment, it's extremely rare, since all their clothes are still in the U.S. But I don't think I've changed even B's outfit in ten months.
66. If you could take your doll anywhere with you in the world, where would that be?
Everywhere. =3
I mean, I don't really have any place in particular I want to take them. Unless you count I want to take B with me if I ever visit Michigan again, so he can see Cillian.
67. Have you ever done something to your SD and felt bad about it? (ex. leaving her naked all night, dropping her)
I left B standing unsupervised for a second. .;_______________; His nose was never the same again.
68. What paint brand do you use on your doll?
None. I don't paint them myself.
69. If you were stranded on a deserted island with your doll, what 3 things would you want for your doll to have?
===>Uhhh.... A computer. With internet access. And some water. I swear these things will be for the doll, and not me. Really.
70. Does your doll have a girlfriend/boyfriend?
Tachi and Quincy have each other. B has Cillian. Luke and Rook have... I don't know; I don't know what you'd call their relationship.
Günter and Antonio are single. .>_>

Günter, Brishen, and Antonio are only-children. Tachi has an older sister and Quincy has a younger sister. Luke doesn't know if he has any siblings, and Rook doesn't remember.
72. Will you pierce your doll's ears?
Tachi's ears are pierced, but I don't currently have any plans to pierce anyone else's.
73. Have you given your doll a manicure? What color?
===>No.
74. Did you do the esthetic process on your doll?

I'm glad I didn't.

I would ruin something.
77. If you could change anything they did with the SD body, what would it be?
I'd like if they all had functional double joints. I'd like if Luke had a torso joint.
78. Have you sueded and wired your doll?
I used to have Günter and Tachi hot-glue sueded, but it got dirty so I took it off and never got around to re-doing it. Now they sell little silicon disks to slip in between joints that work the same as sueding.... I should give those a try.
79. If your SD could be friends with any other SD, which SD would it be?
===>Eh.. Well, they're fine with the friends they have now.
80. Do you plan to get more SDs in the future?
Yes.
81. If so, which SDs?
A unicorn! =D

Günter's is blue.
Tachi's is red.

Umm...
Günter is anal and all about business.
Tachi is loyal, and looks and acts much younger than he is.
Brishen is an old man. Yes, in both mood and look. ;P
Antonio is a fancy snob.
Quincy is a creepy nerd.
Luke is... a fairy. A perverted fairy.
Rook is dumb. I always say he looks eternally concerned, which I find adorable.
Gods, my whole crew sounds so dysfunctional.
85. Describe your SD's favorite outfit.
Lately Günter has been enjoying his khaki pants and button-up.
Tachi loves his low-waist-belt pants, which looks good with a plain white tee.
Brishen likes his pinstriped button-up and black pants. And argyle socks.
Antonio's favorite is his black leather pants, black shirt, feathery silver vest, scarf, and big black boots outfit. ... It's a very involved outfit.
Quincy is happy with the black-and-white plaid pants, white button-up, and gray sweater-vest.
Luke prefers to go naked.
And Rook likes his simple, sleeveless black outfit, with socks, because it's comfortable and all his.
86. Does your SD have a formal name? What is it?
===>Formal...???? .o,o Well, Günter's full name is Günter Varick, and Tachi's is Tachi Heiwa. That's... about as formal as they get. (I think that question was translated oddly..)
+ Brishen's full name is Dr. M. Brishen, but he won't say what the 'M' stands for.
Antonio is Antonio Vincente Tannhäuser, and is so far the only doll to get a middle name.
Quincy Archer.
Luke and Rook don't have full or formal names. (Well, maybe Luke does, but we "can't hear" it. And actually Rook does, but he can't remember and I'm not telling just yet.)
87. Do you have any "colored" wigs for you SDs? (green, pink, blue, purple, etc) Which ones?
The closest we get is the purple streaks in Luke's wig. Other than that it's just black or gray. .... And one brunette.
88. What SD would you like to see in the future?
===>Just to see? All of 'em! =D
89. If you have more than one SD, do you favor one over the others?
===>Ehheh... Well, Günter will always have a special place in my heart, since he was my first. But I try to treat them both equally.
90. Is your SD for display only?
No, they're for play too.
91. Do you have any brand name clothing for your SDs?
===>Some of it is Dollmore brand, Günter's black boots and glasses are LeekeWorld brand, and... I could have sworn we had something Luts brand, but can't remember what..
92.Are there any SDs you regret not buying?
I seriously seriously regret not buying a SOOM Tuff. I was so in love with that little guy, and could probably have managed to get him. I had, at the time, officially decided to buy him, and then, literally, a few hours later my computer blew up, so I felt it would have been a bad idea to spend the money on a doll instead of a new computer. But... maybe I could have been able to do it.....
Maybe someday I'll find a used one.
93. Do any of your friends own SDs?
===>Of course. =3 Nee-chan has some now, and I've made a bunch more friends through the dolls.
94. Do you have SD get togethers?
I don't go to any anymore, since I don't know any collectors here. But maybe, probably, if I go back to the U.S. for a visit, maybe we can all get together.
95. Have you lied about the true cost of your SD to your family or friends?
===>Well...not lied, per se.. .^^ But when I first got Günter I only answered the question of how much with "...a lot."
96. Do you think of yourself as being obsessive about your SD? If so, explain?
===>Hmm... Only in that I think of them an awful lot. But I'm not going to change the focus of my entire life for them.
97. If the house was on fire, what would you grab first? Your SD, wallet, clothes or no time and save yourself?
It depends on where and how big the fire was. I now have two dolls that if I lost, could never be replaced, as they've been discontinued, so if it were just a small fire on the other side of the apartment and I felt I had time to grab a useless luxury item, I'd grab them. But my priority would have to be my wallet (where I keep my gaijin card) and my passport, so I can prove I'm in this country legally.
98. Did you buy a digital camera only because you wanted to take pictures of your SD to show off online?
I had a digital camera before getting any dolls, but since then I have actually factored doll picture taking ability in to what cameras I buy or look at to buy.
99. If you passed on, who gets your SD? wife/husband/kids/best friend/no one...it goes with me! Explain why!
I'd want Günter to be buried with me, and Brishen would go to Renee. All the others are to be sold off and the money given to my family.
Is it creepy that I've thought about that enough to have it all figured out?
100. Do you think you'll ever tire of your SD? Why/Why not?
===>Of mine in particular? Probably not. Of the fandom/hobby in general? Possibly. Why? I tend to hold on to things, and especially things I put work and love into. Even if I fell out of the doll fandom/hobby, I'd still keep my boys; even if I didn't play with them anymore, I'd display them and say "I made them what they are. My effort went into that." Though if that were the case, I'd probably sell off all their clothes and stuff and just keep them. But, never fear, I don't see that happening any time soon. X3

I laugh at my old answer of "How many different kinds of fantasy heads can there be?" Because now I know. (A lot. Surprise me.
31. What is your favorite wig for your doll?
I like the style of Rook's wig, but I don't like how the hairs come out of the tail too easily, and if it's even a little bit off it looks totally wrong. It's a very difficult wig.
I really like how Luke's came out. Those purple streaks used to be white, you know.
32. What made you choose your SD out of all the various types?
For Günter, I instantly fell in love with his lonely little face. He looked so sad,I wanted to make him happy.
Tachi had the lovely Asian look I wanted. Beautiful, beautiful eyes.
B was another that looked so miserable, I had to bring him here. But also, my natural inclination to anything unpopular made me have to have him.
Antonio had the dangerous and snobby look I was looking for.
Quincy... Gods, Quincy was so perfect. I wanted a doll that was tall and had hidden eyes, and I spent a year trying to find one, or even trying to hybrid heads and bodies from different companies, to no avail. Until the day I found him. He was perfect.
Luke is a special case, where I thought he was really beautiful, but never thought I'd actually own him. And then, due to various circumstances, I did.
Rook was just too cute. Too... too cute.
Meili was because I wanted a fantasy doll, and I loved his little hoofies. Now if he'd just get here........
33. Do you change your SD's wig often and have you tried styling the wigs?
I styled Gü's, Tachi's, Quincy's, and colored Luke's myself. I never change any of them, since their wig is part of their character.
34. How many wigs do you have?
I think we have... 12? Extra ones need to be sold off, one of these days.
35. How many shoes do you have for your doll? Does your doll have socks too?
I don't know how many pairs we have. I would have to count, and most of them aren't here right now. Günter, Brishen, Antonio, Quincy, and Rook have socks.
36. What types of clothing does your doll wear?
Gü prefers business attire or business-casual. He always wears slacks and a button-up shirt.
Tachi tries to be punk, but fails.
B dresses like an old man.
Antonio likes to dress either like a fancy dandy, or in tight, body-showing stuff.
Quincy dresses like a nerd.
Luke only has his sheer robe, and he only wears it because the others force him to wear something.
Rook will wear whatever he's put into. But lately he's come to really like HIS outfit that was bought just for him. I think just because it's HIS.
For Meili, when he gets here, I want him in fantasy-like clothing, always all in white. But he'll be difficult, because his hooves will prevent him from wearing normal pants. He'll have to be in shorts or skirts.

There's no place here to carry them. At most, sometimes up and down from the loft.

Sometimes I sit them somewhere near me in the "living room," so I can look at them while I internet. But usually, since they're in the loft, we just spend sleeping time together.

===>By strangers, I've gotten a few "that's creepy," but mostly people say they're really cool and/or pretty. My Grandma's said Günter is pretty, but other than that my family doesn't say much about the dolls themselves; just that I'm weird. Any friends who've seen them in person after only seeing pictures... haven't said anything, actually. .o,o

Günter wears 14mm Souldoll P24, which is a silvery gray with darker gray on the outside of the iris.
Tachi has glass 12mm black eyes.
Brishen wears Eyeco14mm light blue eyes; I think the official name of the color is Morning Sky or something.
Antonio has 14mm Souldoll N-Cat7, which are glowingly bright bluish-green, with slit pupils.
Quincy has 14mm Dollmore D-Glass eyes, in a strange reddish-orangish-brownish color.
Luke wears 18mm Souldoll P-something (I forgot), bright dark purple.
Rook has 14mm Dollmore D-Glass eyes that are a nice gray with black sclera.
52. What is your favorite eye color for your doll(s) and why?
I`m not going to lie... I'm straight up obsessed with gray eyes. But I think we have a nice mix, despite that.

Each doll only has one pair of eyes. I've sold off any extra pairs, except one that's so cheap I couldn't give them away. So I think right now we have eight pairs.

===>Most notably, all but three of my animation cels. And some plushies.... And also a bunch of nick-knacky things that obviously weren't that important to me, since I don't really remember what they were.

Uh... nothing. I'll buy them new clothes every great now and then, but not regularly enough to give a monthly figure.
As for the maximum... I've said I'll never again spend more than $100 on one outfit, but I've seen some really pretty outfits lately, so may go back on that.

I'm still wondering if I should be buying the unicorn. But I don't think that will turn to real regret, since if it doesn't work out I can just sell him.

===>Yeah, sets are cool, but I kinda prefer buying individual pieces so I can mix and match. Sets that work as a set or as individual pieces are the total win. =3

Right now, at this very moment, it's extremely rare, since all their clothes are still in the U.S. But I don't think I've changed even B's outfit in ten months.

I used to have Günter and Tachi hot-glue sueded, but it got dirty so I took it off and never got around to re-doing it. Now they sell little silicon disks to slip in between joints that work the same as sueding.... I should give those a try.

Antonio's favorite is his black leather pants, black shirt, feathery silver vest, scarf, and big black boots outfit. ... It's a very involved outfit.
Quincy is happy with the black-and-white plaid pants, white button-up, and gray sweater-vest.
Luke prefers to go naked.
And Rook likes his simple, sleeveless black outfit, with socks, because it's comfortable and all his.
86. Does your SD have a formal name? What is it?
===>Formal...???? .o,o Well, Günter's full name is Günter Varick, and Tachi's is Tachi Heiwa. That's... about as formal as they get. (I think that question was translated oddly..)

Antonio is Antonio Vincente Tannhäuser, and is so far the only doll to get a middle name.

I seriously seriously regret not buying a SOOM Tuff. I was so in love with that little guy, and could probably have managed to get him. I had, at the time, officially decided to buy him, and then, literally, a few hours later my computer blew up, so I felt it would have been a bad idea to spend the money on a doll instead of a new computer. But... maybe I could have been able to do it.....
Maybe someday I'll find a used one.

===>Of course. =3 Nee-chan has some now, and I've made a bunch more friends through the dolls.

===>Hmm... Only in that I think of them an awful lot. But I'm not going to change the focus of my entire life for them.
97. If the house was on fire, what would you grab first? Your SD, wallet, clothes or no time and save yourself?
It depends on where and how big the fire was. I now have two dolls that if I lost, could never be replaced, as they've been discontinued, so if it were just a small fire on the other side of the apartment and I felt I had time to grab a useless luxury item, I'd grab them. But my priority would have to be my wallet (where I keep my gaijin card) and my passport, so I can prove I'm in this country legally.
98. Did you buy a digital camera only because you wanted to take pictures of your SD to show off online?
I had a digital camera before getting any dolls, but since then I have actually factored doll picture taking ability in to what cameras I buy or look at to buy.

I'd want Günter to be buried with me, and Brishen would go to Renee. All the others are to be sold off and the money given to my family.

===>Of mine in particular? Probably not. Of the fandom/hobby in general? Possibly. Why? I tend to hold on to things, and especially things I put work and love into. Even if I fell out of the doll fandom/hobby, I'd still keep my boys; even if I didn't play with them anymore, I'd display them and say "I made them what they are. My effort went into that." Though if that were the case, I'd probably sell off all their clothes and stuff and just keep them. But, never fear, I don't see that happening any time soon. X3
